Overview

Science Hypermedia, Inc. provides on-line, CD-ROM, and print educational resources for the science community. Maintenance and continued development of the on-line educational hypermedia is funded by corporate sponsors, which greatly adds to the comprehensiveness of the material by providing links to up-to-date product information.


History of Science Hypermedia

Science Hypermedia went on-line March 1, 1996. The educational documents originated from the Chemistry Hypermedia Project (CHP), which Professor Brian Tissue began at Virginia Tech in October 1993. The CHP was supported by the National Science Foundation, Division of Undergraduate Education, DUE-9455382, $80,000, 2/15/95-1/31/97.
