Procedure for selected incoming Students


Before leaving home

  1. When a student is selected, his/her home institution communicates data for first registration to Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
  2. Then the contacts the ORI of Facultad de Ciencias to get instruction to complete registration and necessary documentation for visa.
    Following the received instructions, the student asks the visa in Oficina de Acogida

  1. The student writes out a Learning Agreement according to the guide lines prepared by his home university and choosing the courses within the list approved by the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
  2. The student has to look for accommodation at Oficina de Acogida.
  3. The student could perfom the registration in International Relations Office - Faculty of Sciences. Follow the instructions here.

Once arrived in Madrid

  1. The student has to go to the International Relations Office - Faculty of Sciences to check the registration.
  2. 2. The student who needs language courses can contact to the Servivio de Idiomas.
  3. The student attends courses, takes the exams and gets evaluated; if necessary, the student can ask the Home University for changing the learning agreement.

Before leaving Madrid

  1. The student has to go to the International Relations Office - Faculty of Sciences to get the certificate with passed exams and their evaluation.
List of courses could be found in Departamento de Matemáticas. The incoming student could ask to some of the faculty involved in the project, to substitute a normal course for a reading course, which must be approved by the Project Coordinator.
